This piece symbolizes the beauty found in unconditional love. When we love unconditionally, we accept another exactly as they are, without imposing our own ideas of who they ought to be. In this piece, the two figures face each other as though gazing at one another as though looking into a mirror; between them is a single eye, symbolizing the one reality that we all witness, albeit from our unique perspectives. The hair of the two figures braids together, and each shares a piece of the other’s hair, symbolizing the experience and wisdom gained through relationship with others. In the center appears a beautiful sunrise, representing hope on the horizon. Each of the symbols of the horoscope is present, demonstrating the diversity of personality and the way in which each one of us, in our own unique way of being, is worthy and capable of love.
